Rajasthan Tourism has entered the niche of helicopter tourism to attract more tourists to the state. On August 22, the service underwent its initial trial phase, which lasted 20 days. This welcome collaboration is between Skyline Services and Rajsamand Administration. This service will connect Udaipur and Nathdwara, three of the most popular tourist destinations in India. These destinations will soon be accessible for tourists to book helicopter rides.
According to reports, four-seat helicopters will be used for the purpose. The service is expected to cost tourists between INR 3000 and INR 4000. Rajsamand district collector Arvind Poswal stated that the helicopter service would be available from Udaipur and both places. It will also include a return to Udaipur. He explained that if an individual wish to visit Nathdwara, they can stop there for 2 hours. The chopper will take them to Kumbhalgarh in the second round. You can buy a one-way, two-way, or destination ticket.
This new service will reduce travel time between these three locations. Tourists will also enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the area, which is breathtaking. According to reports, there are already a lot of reservations for this service. Tourists want to experience the same. Once the initiative is a success, it will likely replicate similar models in other parts of the state.
Rajasthan Tourism took this step to revive its tourism sector, severely affected the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdowns.
